I was pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed every minute. I thought it was well watered and had a great story. The authors of this show win prizes for you. I also had cancer and now when I “cured”. So I had it easy I’m in the shoes of the main characters. I love how the authors decided to inject humor into a very serious situation. I watched three episodes of the series and it’s getting better and better. Kathy was played by Laura Linney cancer stage 4 melanoma and was given a year to live. Linney does an excellent job with this role. It was a radical change in perspective, especially in how she spent her time. Any cancer developed in its own way and their way is credible.
Separately from her husband because he was draining her and now she has no dead time, someone else emptied of waste. She did talk about his cancer, it must be completely confused as to why young people do not enjoy it more antics. She has a son at home, a teenager, and suddenly she has more patience with his antics. She is determined to help her grow in a hurry. She did not say he is still their cancer.
Four other characters are the best support though. The first is their black student with a huge problem of obesity. Kathy sets to save his life. This is the actress who was in “Precious” and she did a wonderful job. The other is his brother, a guy who lives homeless by choice and is against all the Crusades. The third is their neighbor, their best friend is in a bad mood for the coming ordeal. The latter is the best friend of the Basset Hound, an affinity for people dying of cancer.
Although this times funny, I would not have Bill as a comedy like Amazon.
